Because they NEVER intend to cut ANYTHING.
But they'll threaten you with cuts to children, the poor, the elderly and veterans because it causes people to 'Come to their senses" and come begging the government to step in and "help".

It's extortion and it's illegal for anyone but the government to do.

Well its a woman no veteran federal worker so almost impossible to fire.
We have one folded American flag that flew over an MP Post in Iraq and she is trying to get it removed . Time will tell.

It all seems NUTS to me.

The VA taking away flags that their wounded or disabled Veterans once fought under???

Would typically expect such demoralizing from Enemy in charge of POW compounds.
NOT insanely by VA Officials against Fellow American Veterans.

Did anyone check to see if any giving such Cockamamie Orders actually ever served?
I wouldn't think so.

If such bureaucrats did once serve,...betcha they were likely: "Rear Echelon Commandos"
in my day, whom later during Vietnam were mockingly & rightfully called: "REMFs".

Well the last American flag came down off the VA Hospital nursing home wall , but it went back up real fast when I said well something else for my letter to the senators . Several other men spoke up with me about this issue. The flag we are talking about was in memory of an Army MP unit that lost men in Iraq and it is folded and does not take up that much room. Men died to fly this flag over Baghdad Iraq in the recent war there, and we veterans here patients and employees do not forget to honor this country's dead veterans that paid the price in the war on terror and for our way of life.
GOD BLESS THE USA

Locksly,

Good for any: "Army MP Units that lost men in Iraq" being honored at The VA.

Whereas, I guess it just tough luck honoring actual battle flags of actual Combat Units
producing casualties, at a SUPPOSEDLY non-preferential or non-biased VA Facility?

Whatever, MPs being honored over others anywhere sure seems strange & odd to me???

Were some big mucky-mucks or military legal expert bureaucrats at that VA once MPs?

Then, MP flag taking preference over Flags of Valor having many Battle Streamers,........
at least becomes somewhat understandable to me.

Don't like it nor think it right. But, at least undestand such.

Neil
