25th news, September 14th 1970 page 3, Picture of PHO127. Had to go and determine what had hit a Ruff Puff unit that had called for fire support. Was a 4.2 mortar from the 2/34th. put 4 rounds into them. there were peices of body in that crater. Still have the Buck folding hunter stuck in the ground in front of me.

Did you know about this picture before now ? I have been copying and sending a bunch of these to vets over the years and had no idea there was a collection like this on the 'net. Has a ton of good info. I am trying to round up all of mine and see if I can help him out. Glad it was helpful. Hope Andy and Golden Dragon see it too.

But never knew it was taken by PIO or was in the paper. I just thought it was some guy taking pictures for Mom & Dad.

There was this Vietnam wide paper, not Stars and Stripes that had a faked picture of me sending a casualty up on a hoist to a MedEvac. Can't remember the name of the paper.
