Glad to have you on board

Glad you can join the team. We have several guys that work for the VA on this site. All are Vets. The more the better. Some of us have become a close knit bunch. Many have dealt with PTSD issues and other problems. But, we sure could use another hand on board.

Keith

Thanks Keith,

I am glad I found this site it is excellent. Thanks for the welcome also. I appreciate it very much. I am glad to join a close knit group. We all gotta stick together.
I do enjoy helping people, especially Veterans. PTSD and Agent Orange are still a big issue for us to deal with as veterans. Now the different types of Hepatitis, and Diabetes and a lot more other medical conditions are surfacing. I urge all veterans to get a complete physical and have blood work done. Also have their Thyroids checked. I found out I have Graves disease which is a Thyroid condition, it is treatable with medication. But it affects many things such as depression, weight, moods, etc!
Thanks again. Hope to meet the rest of the group. SSGT. Jim

Welcome, aboard!

Always good to have another non-horse soldier on board. I was in RVN in 68-69 and was with the 3rd Brigade at Quon Loi. It is great what you are doing for you fellow vets. When I get my life in order I plan to do some volunteering.

Thank God

Very happy to see we have someone else from the Commonwealth on this site. But there's no need to be formal, you can tell these people your from the town of Gaadnah. I live out west on the banks of the Connectiut River, Easthampton. It seems us Massachusetts types are forever urging people to get physicals, must be the mother hen in us. Are you using the hospital in your town or going to Bahs-ten?

Mom lives in Orange and I visit every week. There's a great sea food place in your town that we occationally visit, can't think of the name of it, it's an informal place. Maybe we could have lunch sometime.

Anyway, watch out for all the rebels on this site and if you say anything nice about Ted Kennedy only about 3 people will not be throwing rocks at you. I'll be the guy with a boulder!

Stay healthy,
Andy
