:ah: Found the Patriot site, looking for veterans new year resolutions etc etc
I’ll introduce myself… Born bred Aussie and served in Vietnam I was on the Australian Ship HMAS VENDETTA during 1969-1971 and member of the Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club etc. Semi retired but have a claim in with the DVA for a number of ailing health reasons. Anyway I would like to wish everyone stamina, strength and endurance in the coming new year - so that you can achieve the goals you wish for yourself and I wish for a better and peaceful world we live in for all :xx: Take care and be safe :) Will be back soon :ae: |
Welcome.. Happy New Year to you as well.. You will find alot of great men and women around here.. you might have to watch out for a few..but they are all good people..

Welcome aboard ! "Welcome Home" and G'day Mate !!

Welcome aboard Matey.
VN vets. are right at home here so let me be one of the first to say "welcome home brother" to you. Glad you're here with us and iffen there's anythin' we can do for youze, let us know. I never made it down under when I was accross the pond so many years ago and wish that I had the buck$$$ or pound$$$$$$$$$ to take an R&R in a country where English was the native tongue and had round eyed girls. The Aussies put theirselves right there in the midst of it and deserve all the respect they can get. If you ever choose to come over this way you'ld probably find that spring time in Ellijay, Georgia, C.S.A. was a great time to be here and those on the mountain accept all accents. |
Welcome Aboard Mate
Your are not the first Aussie that has been on board and I hope you aren't the last.
I think Cobber's means: Cobber's is a down under blunder, mate |
