Anyone that has been out and about since this damn coronavirus has been set loose upon society knows for a fact that this disease alone is not the only bugaboo that we have had to contend with as a result of this latest affliction? As a matter of fact, the greed and insanity that it has also let loose upon us has also roiled-up into an epidemic of lust that almost mirrors exactly the insanity that plagued the world away back during “The Great Depression!” It is, in places that include your neighborhood supermarkets, almost akin to a mad rush to see who captures the very last can of off-brand beans that is left upon the baron shelves of some depleted grocer’s supply during the French Revolution, at least in my opinion? “Now what would really happen if a genuine and uncontrived emergency was really to occur?” God forbid if our politicians, the people who really created this (bogus?) nonsense, were themselves ever forced to go without their daily ration of truffles and caviar, with a little vintage bubbly thrown in to wash it down with? I mean, how in the Hell could they ever survive upon the same meager rations as the poor old common blokes who just lost their jobs, and this because “Count Corona” up and farted upon all of that those noodles that some foreign based pasta-king squeezed out, during this (possibly contrived ?) emergency, and this – “Several Continents Away?” What brings far more fear and concern into my mind and soul, however, is the fact that this “National Emergency” could come right out of nowhere, and strike fear into the hearts and souls of a race of people who have never backed down to any foe or so-called crisis, in the past – “Foreign, Domestic, Or Even Make-Believe Alike??”

Though, one seriously wonders and questions whether indefinitely shutting down America won't cause MORE sicknesses and deaths than The Coronavirus or ANY virus or malady COULD EVER CAUSE, for that matter.

Also, if we can all SAFELY shop 6 ft. apart,...why can't most workers SAFELY work and produce whatever, 6 ft. apart? Wouldn't workplaces be a good place for testing, also?

Naturally some industries, like sports and restaurants, will still suffer and not fare as well as most others, since tight crowds and continual body contact are most definite NO-NOs.

Still, and as previously stated in some other post about totally shutting down an Entire Nation,: "Don't throw out the baby with the wash water". In this instance: "The baby" being referred to is America.
