The Unholy Push Is On - In My Opinion

2-19-2018

When political power and control, even over the minds, rights and will of the people, becomes the only motivating factor of those who would be kings, and truth becomes fluid, or worst yet, it means less than nothing to some, then it can be truly said that the push is on to totally rewrite “Our Constitution and its Bill of Rights”, along with many of the other laws that have governed our existence, ever since our inception, away back in “1776!” And when even some policing agencies overstep their authority to maintain order, and instead, attempt to interpret the law to their own advantage, or even to determine what laws they will enforce and who they will protect or attack under these laws, then has the line between right and wrong, along with justice and injustice been blurred, if not eradicated, in favor of the criminally vested?

And when these transgressions are called to the attention of “The Powers That Be” (all the way up to the highest levels of government), only to be met with apathy or even protectionism, as is so often the case these days, who then does the common man turn to? “Or have we truly lost our sense of right and wrong, justice and inequity, and maybe even our liberty itself?”

Where have the ideals, tenacity, and courage of men like Tom Paine, Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, Samuel Adams, Nathan Hale and Paul Revere, etc, etc, vanished to - and this, when a few within government apparently need a (legal) refresher course in “Real Americanism” - Within The Laws of The Land, of course!!

“OUR BILL OF RIGHTS YET LIVES!!”

Those were honorable men - who in their time did their best to make America a country of its own. They had to go to war which was difficult - but suppression by the Motherland curtailed their rights & freedoms. Noble were they and yet the cost of that freedom cost them much of which they then had to later endure.

Today the laws of the land have been revised to fit the issues currently at hand.

Did we loose something in the transition? I'm sure the fundamentals of the original declaration have been skewed to fit the issues of the day. The basic fundamentals or meanings of the original writers had no idea how the future would play out. They laid the groundwork for a new nation and over time we have taken those so well written words and their meaning and revised them into today's situations. Was it right? Our elected leadership(s) over so many years - have thought to revised (or make amendments) of many of these basic rights to fit the needs of today politics.

Again we see the ramifications of these revised rewritten year after year in such a manner that only legal eagles can decipher - and usually have more than one meaning - thereby allowing loopholes in the issues to be later decided by judges.
