01-13-2012 04:46 AM Published: Fri, 2012-01-13 12:44 Hastings Old Town Fish Crumble Heather Joy feature_story_photo: http://www.patriotfiles.com/forum/iipcache/632153.png Photo courtesy of the Guardian.co.uk Hastings Old Town Fish Crumble Ingredients: 340 grams peeled potatoes 4 x 200 gram fillets skinned white fish 5 tbls single cream 5 tbls grated cheese 2 rashers cooked and chopped streaky bacon Salt and pepper Pinch of mustard ¼ tsp. grated nutmeg Method: Cook potatoes so they are still firm – slice and layer in a buttered gratin dish, season will between each layer. Arrange fish on top – you can leave fillets whole or cut them into chunks. Pour the cream over. Mix together breadcrumbs, bacon, mustard, cheese, nutmeg and seasoning and cover fish in an even layer.
