Veterans Day 2021
 

To those still here and in remembrance of those who have gone on before us, may you have a blessed Veteran's Day.

The same to you too Dave.
Memorial Day is a sad day as
we reflect on those that are
no longer with us but in our
hearts and thoughts.

Like the one movie said -
what do wanna do live forever.
(If I had an option I'd say yes)

It's tough sledding as we age.
-
I went to the Memorial in Munster
cold as hell out. I usually go
around noon but have had some
issues with this computer as
you know.
-
I talked with one of the guys
I served with in Lancaster, PA
many of the guys we recall
but can't locate don't know
if their dear or alive.
-
It's could to riminess about those
days - and tougher to know how
many are already gone.
-
Didn't go to the VFW today as
I have a blood test at 8 AM
at the VA -
-
The following week I get an
MRI had a CT earlier but
now they want an MRI.
-
Have good size lump on
my belly and I've lost
50# pounds in the last
8 months it don't sound
good but we will do what
we have to.
-
I hate these computers
with all these systems they
have login and passwords
drive me nuts I've go a list
but sometimes it goes
bonkers.

Well all we can do is make
the best out of what we
have left.

Many guys I knew aren't
hear to celebrate those
years of getting old.
