No Surprise, again
 

By and large, liberals dislike the military, even to the point of loathing it, as were the very words of Slick Willie. His wife's even more bilous contempt for the military was a matter of record while she was acting as co-president. And it's not surprising, given the liberals paradigm, in which they see themselves as the center of power, the enactors of whatever laws and rules they want to adhere to for the moment; any threat to that power, be it overt or otherwise, is met with a venom and vitriol that becomes almost if not downright pathological.

An example of this was demonstrated amply, just last week. Probably for the first time in America's long and storied history, an outgoing President was booed by the crowd which attended the inauguration. And they booed Justice Clarence Thomas, when he was introduced. Both the outgoing President and one of the current sitting justices of the Supreme Court represent a power that the liberals didn't have, thereby earning the crowd's enmity. Not only was the crowd's classless behavior demonstrated, but it revealed as well the blazing hypocrisy of the liberals. I would bet my life that a Conservative never booed any outgoing Democrat president.

So it is no wonder that The Bastard deigned not to attend the ball at which the MOH awardees were awaiting the new president. Perhaps The Bastard didn't make a conscienous decision not to attend, but his handlers certainly had the opportunity to whisper in his ear about where to go and where not to go, and that action alone speaks volumes about the character of Barack - too inexperienced or even vaguely knowledgeable about the military, and the type of people that he chose to surround himself. Just like all the other liberals, leftists, socialists or worse that The Bastard has chosen as his friends, associates and advisors - from Jeremiah Wright to Bill Ayers to the current crop of pikers, they are self-serving narcissists, whose basic interest is the accumulation of power, and its application in pursuit of their socialist aims. The military is viewed as a potential or actual threat to that power, hence, it is treated with disdain and contempt.

Now, doesn't that properly explain it?

As a post script, which is really a polite way of saying I forgot to include it in my basic message, is the first part of my signature. The Bastard's contempt for the military extends to his idiotic statement that we need something else other than the military. Just re-read his statement, and see if you don't agree that it is an insult hurled directly at our warriors.
