Back...in the desert!

Hey Patriot Family,

Here I am, back in the dust of Iraq! I am at Al Asad airbase located in beautiful western Iraq.

I am excited to be back and to be doing my part. We are very busy right now with being the incoming unit. The out going unit gave us a cookout today which was rather nice.

I cant complain about the living conditions one bit considering last time I was out in the middle of no where.

Once again, I will pass along mail info if you desire it. And I am sure my wife, Ani, will be jumping on from time to time and I hope to be sharing some more pictures from this tour.

Hope all is well back in the states! Thanks for all your support!

Thanks for being there for us.
Been watchin' the weather reports in Iraq and I'm pretty sure that the first order of business is to make sure the AC is working.
Stay cool and as Curtis says, keep your a... ... low.

Hey Doc are they still issuing salt tablets? When I was in Saudi they discontinued them because they said the food had amble salt in the food. Just curious. What do they issue the troops now for hot weather - other than copious amounts of water?

Ya know I hate hot weather - give me cold any-day. I'd rather freeze to death then roast.

Be safe Doc and my best to you your family and all the troops out there.
