The US government detonated countless nuclear bombs as tests before they dropped two atomic weapons on Japan to end World War II. Here is the actual photo of the detonation of the world’s first ThermoNuclear device, codenamed “Ivy Mike.” It was blown up in the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean.

Can you just imagine what the newer Nukes can do?
