Dynamic duo: US Navy sees resurrected 2nd Fleet as competitive counter in North Atlantic

Michael Fabey reports. The re-establishment of the US 2nd Fleet is more than just a shifting of responsibilities, ships, and aircraft on the service's organisational chart. It represents an integral part of the US Navy's (USN's) efforts to combat Russia, which has re-established itself as a peer naval competitor, particularly in the undersea realm of the North Atlantic.
