West Coast Beer

Black Label and Hamms was big seller in Oregon and Washington in the 50's. When I was in Alaska, that's the only beer we was able to get.

Thats because you didn't partisipate in the art of thivery. I , on the other hand, stole everything at every base camp I was in, I didn't actually call it thievery though, It did belong the the Government anyway and I being property of the US government, thought it my duty to liberate other property to which said property chose to come with me.

Here comes the boo's!

I liked Black Label...(pause for laughter from my buddies). We also got PBR, which being a Southerner, Loved. It used to be good beer. There was some Bud. (yech) and the other big one was Olympia....It's the Tum Water. Didn't want to know what Tum Water was but knew what it rhymed with.

Ron, never saw Miller's there. Don't think we were allowed to have the "Champagne of Bottled Beer". Nothing's too good for the men...that's why we got so much of it.
