Griz....At The Ballet!??

Just got home from Seattle, where Kati and yours truly saw the Pacific Northwest Ballet perform "The Nutcracker".Needless to say, this was my first ballet (went to my first symphony last year),but hopefully won`t be my last.I gotta tell you..It was simply BEAUTIFUL! So much talent all on one stage..and all the scenery, etc. was outstanding. The best part for me,though was watching my little girl squirming about her seat so as not to miss anything-She was enthrawled! We had a great time.Just wanted to share this moment of devine pleasure before some SOB kicks me in the shins.

Griz,

I think that's marvelous. I have a gruff old friend who hates everyone and anybody but he too has season tickets to the ballet. Who would've thought?

I would think my eyes would get very heavy during this event. But I've never been to one either so until I do - who knows?

Griz.....

When my kiddos were just little ones, it was an annual event to trek to Reno for the Nutcracker Ballet on ice. That?s just an hour?s drive away and about the only time during the Christmas holidays I could get them to pay attention to anything. Plus the Ma was delighted to get us out of the house for a little bit so she could power down for a few hours. In a secret admission, I think I liked the Ballet more that the kiddos did. But Ya?ll best not be talking about that ya hear. :x:

Happy Holidays to you and yours Griz,

Scamp

Griz Thanks for taking Kati. We have been to the seattle Nut Kracker a few times and it never fail to amaze me. How those little runts can lift those girls way up in the air while dancing and to make it look so effortless. and my favorite part is all the kids coming out from under that ladys dress . also the big rat is cool. hope you and yours had a great christmas, now go have a happy and prosperious new year

If you liked the Nutcracker

You'd love Swan Lake. If it comes around Seattle go see it with Kati.

Hey Doc would I be out of place wearing camo chest wadders with duck and goose calls and a shotgun if I went to swan lake?

Griz and the ballet

What's this world coming toooooo. Not my buddy Griz. Never been to a ballet. Been to two opera's, I'd avoid those if I were you. Symphony I love them, I love classical music! Kati's going to get Dad cultured! Wow, miracles do happen. Griz and culture is there something wrong here? :D

Thank you for being a great Dad! You are a great guy.
