Was nice chit-chatting once again about long ago experiences on the ARMY segment, even though experienced quite some hassle getting back to you each & everytime. Those spiteful site disrupting saboteurs just won't quit. Well,...for me anyway.

Inately honest, loyal to friends & stubbornly can't be scared-off easily (especially by cowardly anonymous low-life hackers) aside, have you or do you know of any other members having been blocked or made difficult accessing patriotfiles.com forums, with regularity?

Is it just some anti-New Jersey thing or what hasn't changed for me in over 50 years. "If you're not Recon you're Sheeit!" standard greeting to all not of unit, isn't really all that bad. Is it? ;);)

Besides, all David did was to banish a few PHONIES from his fine site. What's so bad about that?

I'm not aware of anyone who has experienced intentional blocking of access to the site.

I know that David posted several times in the past that the site hardware was somewhat outdated and that we could expect some problems because of that.

The few times that I have had problems accessing the site, I have gotten a DATABASE ERROR message, which is exactly the kind of problem that David said we could expect.

I also enjoyed the chat in the ARMY forum.

I know that's hard to believe. Isn't it? ;);)

Whatever, for me it has longtime (many months) been pretty-much a-flip-of-the-coin as to whether or not could post or reply to anyone. Access to forum hit or miss. Rare others posting anything, anyway.

Today seems OK so far. Will see when I finally hit: "Submit reply" today, if REALLY OK.

Regardless, isn't it strange that with so with many members on line (about double what normally used to be), hardly any are ever posting or replying? Why is that?

Besides, if patriotfiles.com was such a praiseworthy site for so long a time, why have so many en mass abandoned it?

Logic alone dictates that SO MANY longtime silent here are being scared-off by something.

I just don't believe Doc's reason for mass site desertion of no longer just: "Not wanting to contend with Neil or Darreljoy" NONSENSE infected everyone. Both I & D-joy are actually good people.

Around 3 this afternoon got: "Database error" for every thread tried accessing. Gave up.

All seems well now at 8:04 PM.

At one time there were three or four people in here who were annoying and pissing off people.

They were posting political posts all over the forums in spite of David's requests, and denigrating and maligning people who didn't agree with their opinions.

I personally was attacked and maligned several times becaused I questioned the behavior of this country's administration.

I got fed up with it and left. I imagine a lot of other folks did too.

Even after I left I was referred to as cowardly and disloyal for leaving.

That crap is un-needed and undeserved.

I don't annoy people in here because I respect their right to their opinions.

And I don't verbally attack and malign people when I disagree with them.

If I post a disagreement with George Bush or Barack Obama or anyone else, I try to do it in a civil manner.

And I expect my right to my opinion to be respected.

So...as to why people left this forum, Neil, you have your opinions, and I have mine.

Totally understand your disgust with personally insulting & demeaning political hacks from veteran or non-veterans & wannabe phonies alike.

Your plight seems quite similar to my experiences here, until David straightened-such-out (even banned some). Some of that perverted clique even mocked & disparaged my mother.

I quickly put such scum in their place or just straightened such low-lifes out.
Such is actually easy doing with such obviously Quite Ignorant Political Hacks.

Hope other friends return here also, Rigger. Sure would like knowing other reasons for herdlike leaving & no longer posting or responding on this very fine veterans' site?

Besides, members all know your reasons for leaving & my: "Opinions" why stubbornly staying to post & remain a supportive member, even though regularly blocked many times.

This morning getting through OK aside, let's hear others reasons for not posting as before.
Shedding a little light on the matter...certainly couldn't hurt.

All know that malcontents, disgruntled perverts or site saboteurs thrive best in the dark.

Here's latest play-by-play on what believe purposefully caused by malcontent site disruptors.

1. Response to Rigger was posted OK around 7:30 AM.

2. Checked back around nine-ish. Could not. Got that standard: "Problem in Database Connection".

Guess site's repeated attackers don't like being repeatedly exposed.

3. Tried accessing Patfiles again around 10 o'clock. Since couldn't again, e-mailed David.

4. Since problem corrected am exposing bums now, again. Obviously stubborness pays-off.

Have any of you others out there suffered similar difficulties accessing patriotfiles.com?

Don't keep such a secret. If you do,...The Spiteful Hackers Win.

Just checking in! Seems to be working fine now. How's everyone doing? Day to day for me. As long as I get paid every two weeks I have no issues. Just celebrated 30 years with my company.

Given that some mass oath of silence seems existing here, the best I can say is that: "Me & Mine are OK".

Apparently once greatly opinionated veteran oldtimers refuse to or just don't care posting here anymore,...even when this site is open & isn't being blocked.

Still, betcha my latest little doodle about: "His Barackness" gets Patfiles somehow sabotaged or screwed-up by the disruptive PC Crowd. Disparaging emperors or kings is no longer considered Free Speech in America.
