MAKAHA - Army signs and charts explaining the military's planned Stryker
brigade were on one side of the room. Protest signs denouncing it were on
the other. And in between, supporters of both met largely peacefully over
the issue for the first night out of the past three. In an about-face, the
Army last night allowed in the same anti-Stryker placards that kept some
protesters out of public comment meetings Tuesday and Wednesday night, and
led to the arrest of seven individuals on trespassing charges.Today, four of
the seven were arraigned in District Court on charges that were reduced from
second-degree criminal trespass, a petty misdemeanor, to simple trespass, a
violation with no jail time. The four pleaded not guilty. A Dec. 16 trial
date was set for the four - Kyle Kajihiro, Steve Tayama, Gwendolyn Niheu
(also known as Gwendolyn Kim) and Bok Dong Yoon.

Ted Stryker. Famous fighter pilot turned airline pilot. Surely
you've heard of him?

The chances are all four will walk.

The Army knows it -- they didn't arrest them.

The four know it -- they've been through it all before.

The public knows it -- they've been through it all before too.

Scotty apparently believes this to be a glorious stride forward
in the revolution. Gwendolyn Niheu a.k.a. Gwendolyn Kim has visions of
going down in history as the second Rosa Parks. (You should have seen
the TV coverage)

The bottom line is -- the four were not able to disrupt the
meeting -- which was their clear intent.

Remember John Wayne dancing the Jig to teach
some guy Bayonet Training. He was Sgt. Stryker.

Sorry. Never heard of him; however, I'm sure he's cool.

So... a "Stryker" is one of those?

Please pardon my obvious ignorance wrt this matter.
