Looking to buy a new car

ANyone have suggestions? Most likely will be going new.

Right now the front runners are:

2008 Ford Focus

2008 Dodge Caliber

Leaning toward the Ford.

My 03' Dodge truck

has 80K and has never been in for anything but normal maintainance. I think Dodge also now has a lifetime power train warranty. I imagine the Ford and the Dodge are probably about the same....so I'd look to who's giving the best deal and warranty, and which dealer has a better rep in service.

I stepped out last night on the porch. It was real quiet and I could hear the neighbors ford rusting. Chevy Silverado 2500.

LOL Not sure how it will go now.

My grandparents were going to buy a new car. Now it looks like it will be a newer model instead of new.

I would love a toyota car(no truck, we don't need another) but they are mostly made for midgets/short people. If it were up to me i'd get something like the caliber or an impala.

I really don't have much of a choice even though it will be tech. my car.

Mel.

listen to Chris about PMing Stick. If I was even thinking about buying a Ford, I would go through him. Chris is right....you could probably go up a class in car for the same price as the Focus.

Two Years Ago

Two years ago we bought a PT Cruiser. Good Gas mileage. Lots of leg and head room. Versatile cargo arrangements in the rear. Easy to get in and out. Most cars cause my sciatic nerve to pinch. Pick ups, trucks, and the PT cruiser don't pinch the nerve. So I love that car. Dodge caliber, had one for a week as a loner, it drove well but it didn't compare to the PT Cruiser for getting in and out and leg room. My wife and I said the Cruiser beats the Caliber for versatality also.

I'm here fer yah Mel

Let me know and I'll get you into any Ford Motor Co. owned car or truck normally for either at or less than what the dealer pays for it. Ford sold Jaguar and Rover to the Indian company, Tata Motors Ltd. back in February so I can't get a price on them anymore.
