My name is Matthew and I am a marine corps veteran. i served honorably from Aug. 12th 1980-June 22 1988 as a 1371 combat engineer. I made Sergeant in 1987 and was a corporal forever. I just found this site and hope I can find some info on my years in that I can't seem to remember. I am 100% service connected for multiple sclerosis.(:()

fng, I havn't heard that in a while. I hope to run into some guys that were in my units. I have what I thought was all my records but I have nothing on my awards(citations) and where I was while in the service.

I served a little earlier then you but as you know, time and distance changes nothing, we're still brothers forever.
I believe you're in a good house here and I'm sure before too long you'll feel right at home.
