most all T V stations...
are telling all of us that the year 2002 is
6 days shorter than 2001-2000 etc. somebody tell me it isn't so...please!!! :cd: :cd: :cd: :md: :r: :d: |
How could it be? Did they explain that?

I got out my calendar . . . . . . .
Looked on the days of the month, added them all up and it came to 365. And I know I lived everyone of them. So . . . . . . . that just proves one thing . . . . . . . . you can't trust the media.
COUNT the days yourself at . . . . http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar Keith :D |
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving fell very late this year. Thus, there are a few less days to the end of the year than if it had fallen on, say the 24th. I think that's what their talking about.
Note: I'm not in the habit of making excuses for TV commentators. Stay healthy, Andy |
Yes, I believe they meant there was 6 fewer shopping days till christmas this year. But no pressure or anything. :m:
|
If I start shopping on December 24th, will I then be 5 days too late for Christmas?

ken, would you believe that ...what next.
make a wish and you got it... but, as you know that's not the answer... you can still shop 365 days a year... think about this: if there are more total sales this year they will tell us; wow ee if there are fewer sales this year, see those 6 days did make a difference??? you can not win... |
I'm hoping these six missed days are between now and the 23rd...
