Add to your list of people/groups to boycott - The Dixie Chicks.

It seems that while on tour overseas(England i think it was) the groups lead singer felt the need to apologize to the fans for the fact the Our President is from Texas.

What does it take to deport a naturalized citizen?

Sackcloth and ashes.......

I think it would be appropriate to get up some sackcloth and ashes for all the US celebrities going to Europe to beg forgiveness. I mean let?s do this right for crying out loud. I believe the proper procedure is to walk on knees, beat the chest, wear sackcloth and ashes and whimper how sorry they are, in Latin. No time for half measures in this deal and lets see some serious tears streaking the face make up and ashes, renting of garments, and hear some high-db howling and moaning going down. All together now??..

Aarrgg and growl!! :md:

Catman...

No matter what foreign country such political-stupidity took place,...we should take some consolation in the fact that many foreign Country Western fans that usually like dressing in Texan garb aren't all fools, and can see right through any political-bull,...no matter WHOM shovels it out.

Besides, for us not liberally brainwashed hacks, what could be more Country Western than being from Texas? Sure, here in New Jersey Country Western is pretty-big. But, it's most certainly not near as big as in Texas. Plus, and besides Texans being straight forward, forthright and Good People in general, many are BIG PEOPLE (in every sense of the words).
G-O-O-O...TEXAS!!!!!!!

Was it done?

Was it done tongue in cheek or serious.

We often kid around about such things and "it don't mean nothing."

But if done tongue in cheek, timing was poor being he is under such criticism from the those who are more liberal and at time of extra high tensions.

We should help them find a condo or apartment in central Iraq and help them move in before we start the air campaign. All of them.

Watched C-SPAN last night and caught the British House and old Tony Blair was taken a real ass kicken. Discussed the 1441 issue and the new rider the Brits are trying to attach to it doesn't seem to be going to well.

It's amazing how fearfull people are or retaliation. If the US goes it alone (and it looks like we will) they all feel that we will be the only ones who the terrorist will take it out on. Boy are they in for a surprise.

I also saw that many Muslims are crossing the borders to sign up to defend the brother Muslim nation currently under attack from the infidels. Saudi's are lining up most likely because OSBL has sent his troops in to keep the Iraq's in line.

I know we can kick their ass but it's after the war and we've posted Sadam's head on a stick I worry about. Policing an entire nation (besides Affganistan) will take an awful lot of manpower and open our troops up to sniper and terrorist attacks.

Just cleaning out the renegades out-of-towners will be tough.
I'd like some thoughts on just how we can make this transition from Sadam to a more politically correct government?

The different fashions within this country will be chopping at the bit to take over the power - its going to be ugly!!!
