Knock on the door..

At 7pm this evening.. There was a knock on the door..
Dad answered it and there was a man and a women standing there.. Dad was like can I help you.. The gentelman said my name is John Smith I just wanted to Thank you for flying your flag and putting up the yellow ribbon..
Dad asked me to come to the door..
He said my name is Joe and this is my daughter Tina.. We always fly our flag.. But it was her idea to put the yellow ribbon out..
John said that he respected me for wanting to do that and that he wished he could find more young ppl and kind as me...
I was like thanks..It means the world to me, everyday I find out that an other one of my friends have gone...
They left got in there car and left.. The didn't stop at my neighbers and they have the same hanging, and flying...
Dad was like your just special cause your my little girl..
I was confused...
just wanted to share the joy of my nite with you all...

Way to go Tina. Goes around comes around. My daughter would say you were visited by an angel. Maybe.

I believe in that. What goes around comes around. Sometimes what we take for granted can mean so much more to others. I fly the Flag and post a VN & POW plaque outside 24/7 so that I guess now many take this for granted. But each day I get up and go outside and I reflect on the issues why I do what I do.

Tina - you will remember this all your days. And maybe just maybe someday you will do the same for other's who will take your appreciation into their heart and with any luck more and more people will learn what you felt that special day.

God Bless You and your Father.
