If I remember Correctly?

The Newest Trends World Wide don't agree with your quotes.

Most of your quotes are five or six years old. Christianity has taken on a resurgence world wide and has been growing faster than Islam in the last 4 or 5 years.

I believe the repulsive behavior of the conservative Muslim terrorists has cause many to take a second look at the Muslim religion and reject it.

Why does Muslim Religion Grow.
1. People want a reality to their faith. There is a God, there is
right and wrong, there are standard by which to live.

2. Much of American and Most of Europe has allowed
Christianity to be watered down to a philosphical religion
rather than a faith with promotes the reality of God.

3. The Muslim faith allows the Man to be the boss. The Muslim
centers around men and the man being the leader. It helps
men to have an identity. The rise of feminism in Europe and
the US has take a lot of male identity away from men. The
Muslim religion helps restore that identity.

4. Muslim Religion has been actively Evangelistic. Trying to win
converts.

5. Muslim states demand adherance to the Muslim Religion.
They won't allow fair competition with Christianity.

In Europe the Church attendance averages about 3 - 5% of the population. The Christian Church has failed greatly since WWII in Western Society. The Muslim Religion has filled some voids left by the Liberalism of the Christian Church. The growth of Muslim Religion in Western Europe and North America can be summed up in one way. The Failure of Christianity to be everything Christianity should be.

Keith

However, in the last few years Christianity has been growing faster than the Muslim Religion World-Wide. The Pentecostals have had tremendous growth in Asia and Africa.

Religon

Religons, Christianity, Muslums, Jews, Butist, etc all say the same thing. "ours is the only religon, Ours is the one that is growing the fastest" etc.
I have always said that religon should be a personal thing and that someones view about his or her God should be kept to themselfs.
None of them can be provin and so therefore it is fath that keeps a person interested in any religon.
Belive what ever you wish, just don't impose your views on me.

Re: Islam

I found this on another Forum, thought you might find this interesting.

Quote:

...and allow the spirit to absorb the logic of who/what Allah/God is...

As a former muslim and a Christian now, let me tell you who he is... he is NOT the GOD OF CREATION, our Father in Heaven...

Many Christians accept the Muslim claim that we both worship the same God. They claim that they call him Allah, while we call him God. It is not unusual to hear Christian leaders make such statements. Bible societies have even gone so far as to use the name Allah in the Bibles they produce for Arab Christians.

The problem with this is two-fold. First, history and archeology show clearly that Allah was worshipped as a pagan moon god long before Mohammed came on the scene. Robert Morey, author of The Islamic Invasion, explains:

"Islam's origins have been traced back by scholars to the ancient fertility religion of the worship of the moon god which was always the dominant religion of Arabia. The moon god was worshipped by praying toward Mecca several times a day, making an annual pilgrimage to the Kabah which was a temple of the moon god, running around the Kabah seven times, caressing an idol of a black stone set in the wall of the Kabah, running between two hills, making animal sacrifices, gathering on Fridays for prayers, giving alms to the poor, etc. These were pagan rites practiced by the Arabs long before Muhammad was born."

"What religion today practices the pagan rites of the moon god? Islam! This explains why the crescent moon is the symbol of Islam. It is placed on top of mosques and minarets and displayed on hats, flags, rugs, amulets and even jewelry. Every time you see the Muslim symbol of a crescent moon, you are seeing the ancient symbol of the moon god."

Second, if you read the Qur'an's description of Allah, and read the Bible's description of God, it becomes obvious you are reading about two different persons. Allah orders his followers to kill those who deny Islam, while God instructs us to love our enemies. Allah had no son while God sent His Son to die for sinful men. Allah is "unknowable" while God seeks a personal relationship with His creation, man.

The spirit behind Islam is an entirely different spirit... a spirit that denies the deity of Jesus Christ. Any Christian who accepts the notion that Allah is God creates an impossible situation. Since the Qur'an contains our only revelation about Allah, they will be forced to look there as their authority. The Qur'an specifically denies the deity of Christ! All Christian witness ends right there.

Good little argument on the differences between Muslim and Christian Faith!

Ron,

I love religious debate, I think Sara is trying to evangelize by debate. But, she's way over her head on this thread. Really doesn't belong on patriotfiles.

Sara,

You study the differences between the Muslim Religion and Christianity and Christianity comes out ahead everytime.

If the Muslim Religion is so superior to Christianity WHY do Muslim clerics and nations fear the competition and ban Christianity?

Muslim religion was born in violence [read and study Muslim history by the Muslims and the Qur'an ] Mohammed conquered the pagans through violence forced them into his new religion and many segments of the Muslim Religion still support violence. Even though some segments of the Muslim religion are not violent many are. Christianity was born by a self sacrificing Savior who offered himself as Sacrifice because of his love for humanity. I would rather have a loving Savior than a Blood Thirsty Prophet.

THE MUSLIM RESPONSE

Whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption done in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one, it is as if he had saved mankind entirely
[Qur'an 5:32]
?
One of the core meanings of Islam is peace. Therefore, the inhumane and horrific events at the World Trade Center which caused innocent casualties - including many Muslim victims - is clearly, without a doubt, completely un-Islamic.
However, it should be noted that the actions of an individual or a small group do not necessarily represent the beliefs of a particular religion, nor is that religion responsible for such actions. Therefore, the media?s labeling of those who are allegedly responsible for these actions as ?Islamic Terrorists? and the linking of such actions to Islam or the Qur?an, is incorrect. Rather, such inhumane actions clearly contradict the teachings of Islam - just as the bombing at Oklahoma City by Timothy McVeigh and the killings that occurred at Ibrahim Mosque, Hebron by Dr. Baruch Goldstein clearly contradict the teachings of Christianity and Judaism, respectively.
It is inconceivable that the religion of Islam, which takes its teachings from the noble Prophets such as Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad - peace be upon all of them - would ever teach terrorism or suicide missions. In reality, Islam not only condemns terrorism and suicide missions, but also prohibits them completely. Thus, many Muslim nations, organizations, and communities all around the world have condemned such actions, hoping never to see its like again. The yellow journalism of the media showing the views of a small group of Palestinians (mostly children), who have been terrorized for years, does not represent the true feelings of Muslims worldwide.
It is also unfortunate that harassment of various kinds (including shootings, beatings, stone throwing, robberies, vandalism, death threats and hate language) has occurred against innocent Muslims resident in the United States ? the elderly, women and children alike. In addition, Islamic places of worship and Muslim owned businesses have now become the targets of some peoples? anger and ignorance, just as the American people had become the targets of the anger and ignorance of the perpetrators of the World Trade Center attacks. Such bigotry and hatred is inhumane and unjustified.
We denounce the killing of innocent civilians in the United States, just as we have patiently for many years denounced the killing of innocent civilians in Bosnia, Chechnya, Kashmir, Palestine, India and other countries.
May God, Almighty, the One without any associates or partners in His Divinity, guide us all to the

Truth and spread peace throughout the earth. Ameen.
