JUST RIGHT! So glad to hear that your recovery is looking up.It`s gonna be a long hard battle to get everything back in fighting shape, but I have no doubt that you will prevail.Quick syory: Got a buddy, house mover by trade. They were moving a big 2 story house in a residential area, and Marv was on the roof when he lost his balance.Reaching for something to keep him from falling,he grabbed hold of a power line and had 70,000 volts go through his hands and blew a hole out his back that you could stick your fist in.The palms of both hands were burned beyond recognition After many grafting surgeries and months of therapy,he`s back on the job-crawling around under houses...Keep movin,my friend! :e:

That's great, Bud. I told you that this is going to be a bit of a dragged-out process, but don't give up on it. You'll come through this okay. You've been in tougher spots.

Besides, if you're not missing parts you're not hurt too bad :D :l: :D :l: .

God bless, John , take care.
In 1975, in Honolulu, I fell off my bicycle onto some broken glass, had my right hand all stitched up and bound up for months.
The hardest part was learning to do things left handed, even self abuse--it was like getting some strange stuff after a long time relationship, my right hand was jealous. I still do it left handed sometimes for variety

What great news! Yes you still have a long road but you?ll do it. Were I you, I?d still stay away from camp fires when possible. Relapse is a bad, bad word. Annette told me about your first day at work, totally understand. Just remember, no pain no gain - where did I hear that?

James, quick story for you. When working as an officer of the law, got a call to go to the front yard of a grade school. When we arrived there was a guy beating his girlfriend (8 months pregnant) with a long wooden stick. Ran up to the guy, blocked a swing with that stick and placed him on the ground in an affirmative manner - as in, punched him in the head. I hit him just a little wrong and broke a knuckle on my right hand. Later that evening, went to the hospital and they put my right hand in a cast. Still later that evening I went home and had to use the toilet. When done I looked at the cast and looked at the toilet paper, then yelled out, ?Hey Honey?. She was in the living room and yelled back, ?Don?t even think of it?. (Amazing how that girl knows me.) Like you, it was an all new experience. I think I?d give my left arm to be ambidextrous.

Stay healthy, get better quick Lt.
Andy
PS: Frisco, for years I wanted to know. Now I know. Please, no more close ups.

Thanks y'all - I am movin ! Tom thanks for the reality check , just like Frank and Tiny have given me. Hell another couple months I'll be doing it with both hands - i figure. For the first month or so both arms were wrapped from elbo to over hands so Sharon got back and front duty. She was getting into the front duty and we were chashing things all over the bowl . First time she ever spelled her name in the bowl too. Thanks again youse guys. :D
