I got an e-mail from My son today. I know you wanted to know how He was doing after the loss of the CO. Here is His answer to a couple of questions:

1. have You made a good friend?
2. Did You receive Your thanksgiving package?

hey topp, i recevied the package last week, i forgot to tell you thanks, i do have a good friend here, i think about the relationship that you and danny phillips?had in vietnam, so i can relate to how you all were we share everything, and we both love spam, i do have a friend that is a viet nam vet and i know we'll be friends for life i am pretty sure you know who it is. We can receive all kinds of rewards and accolades in this life but it is what our children say about us that means the most to us and tells who we really are. You did good brother. He's a handsome boy but more than that one with conviction and courage.God blesshim and all that are with him.
