Hey gang!! Eh La Ba, Y'all!! Its time for the semiannual trip to the Crawdad Fest!! Zydeco, Zydeco and more Zydeco (and Cajun)That means YOU Ron and Dave and whoever else wants to.
get Together Time and place:
Crawdad Fest/Fairgrounds/BreauxBridge/ Louisiana/Saturday/May 1st--thats MayDay!!
(And then tthe Jazzfest in NOLA on the 2d!!)

Democrat style? It takes a Republican to think history's largest deficit is financial responsibility. Reagan's the one who said Catsup was a vegetable.
I thought it wqs cheating too, they weigh the whole 'dad but he doesn't eat the whole 'dad, no, just sucks the meat out with that swoopedy little tongue twiggle I've never been able to master (except in the bush hardehar)
Youre one of the ones I'm most looking forward to meet again, Ron, and cruising in yr latest rocket ship.
Dave!!?? You still there?? I want to stop and say hi to you and Darlene if you don't go to the Fest, we'll be going right through BR.

So far the itinerary looks like this:
Friday 23--arrive atlanta to cheers of adoring crowd, receives key to city.
Sat 24th--drive to Ellijay, parades, feted all over the county, meets with other distinguished Vietnam Vets, photo ops, autograph signing.
Sunday 25th--recover from saturday
Monday 26th--Chickamauga? I'll let Fred pick this one
Tuesday 27th--Shiloh
Wed 28th--Memphis!!!:parades, fetes, parties, feats of strength, tours of Graceland, Beale Street, another key to city. this is the night to stay over, Larry
Thurs 29th--Meet Dan, party, party and more party, Drive to Baton Rouge late Thursday, pick up THE WOMAN at BR airport at 9:50 pm.
Friday 30th--Baton Rouge--more parades, parties, fetes, carried around on the shoulders of adoring crowd. Probably stay with Dave and Darlene this night
Sat 1st--Crawfish festival, Lafayette-- best night in Lafayette of the year.
Sunday 2d, drive to Nawlins, last day of Jazzfest--laissez les bon temps roulez!! Get my beignet fix taken care of.
Monday3d--THE WOMAN leaves. Party starts again.
Tuesday 4th--New Orleans Airpote 7:50 AM--Exit stage left, pursued by a bear
These are the minimal expectations--I'm ready for it to be a lot better than this.

Looks like you are going to my home of record, NawArlens, born and raised there. Bring a few mudbugs home for me (we live in the same neck of the woods now I'm in Oakland) and a few "Dixie" Beers, Have a good time at the FayDoDo.
