Absolutely AMAZING!!!

Absolutely AMAZING!!!

Just about when thinking that nothing more could possibly surprise me anymore here in: "Weirdsville USA", along came these; "9/11 Hearings". Such open and Public Hearings during wartime being just as stupid and enemy helpful and encouraging now,...as same would've been after December 7, 1941 and/or Pearl Harbor. Truly feel sorry for those in uniform, plus all Americans put at further risk than should ever need be, by such.

A quite lethal display of America's political oneupsmanship norm aside, it should also be noted that many of the inquisitioners are actually the ones whom rightfully should be-on-the-carpet. NOT ANY ADMINISTRATIONS, since Administrations never oversee the many agencies of America's Intelligence Community. For stupid and/or failed policies and: "High Crimes OR Misdemeanors" (?),...of course.

After all, weren't just Senators, Congressmen and some Political Appointees what made up the 30-40 (?) Intelligence Oversight Committees of the last 10 years or so? So then, where's the rationale of those having failed miserably at their overseeing tasks or jobs,...NOW QUESTIONING OTHERS about "Their" very own and abysmal Intelligence Oversight FAILURES??? Makes no sense whatsoever.

Granted, most politicians and many of The Press/Media see nothing wrong with the absurdity, since journalists, lawyers, and/or: "Political Science EXPERTS(?)" and such, rarely ever do. Given their their obvious bents, loftier goals and higher concerns,...it's understandable.

Still, and since this is wartime and we're all in the same boat and in dire straits, I would suggest that all alluded to come down off of their high horses. Thusly, "They" could instead use their positions and stations to safeguard the well being of The American People,...and not just be mainly concerned about the betterment of their cliques and foreigners, as is normal.

And besides, foolish political-correctness and/or OPENLY & PUBLICLY broadcasting and debating America's failings and weaknesses IN DETAIL, and especially during wartime,...ONLY HELPS our many fanatical and murderous enemies, both targetwise (noting weak points) and moralwise (seeing how well they're hurting America).

So then, and except for no doubt cheering the enemy on by such AN OPEN & PUBLIC DISPLAY of a national divisiveness and intelligence ineptitude,...why would fools do such? Do any allegiances to The World Court of The Hague, The UN or The Democrat Party actually come before any oaths taken to America and The American People by some? Lately,...it surely seems so.

Do you think that just because some of you believe yourselves to be up on Mount Olympus, that you and clique cannot become victims of terrorists and/or the worst and most fanatically-murderous enemy America has ever faced?
Well,...think again all you Party(both ways) Animals and/or Nero-like FOOLS!

The End

Friends...

Granted, I don't see or accept most things as are usually expected to be normally accepted by The American Citizenry, by most all in authority, institutionally, and even The Press/Media.

Therefore, I would appreciate any feedback from anyone here on patriotfiles.com (good, bad, pro or con),...since most of you here ALSO seem to have your heads-screwed-on-straight, and don't appear to be taken-in by all the purposefully orchestrated and purposefully divisive political BS that has taken-over America.

Regardless, hope to read some beauties (good, bad, pro or con).

I?ve been thinking about this Neil and I?m going to respond to your quality thoughts. Like the Gubernator says, ?I?ll be back? and probably spend some quality early Sunday morn time with your thoughts. Good stuff and strong words for sure, but then alas, 7th Cav and strong thought comes with the Gary Owen territory as far as I know. Boots and Saddles call is what I?m seeing and I?m up for that. :ae:

Commissions of this sort generally can qualify in significance the same way John Nance Garner, a fine Texan and one-time Vice President under FDR said with regard to the office of V-P. "Not worth a bucket of warm spit." At least in August, a bucket of warm spit might be helpful in watering the buffalo grass growing in one of my pastures, but that's about all. The 9-11 Commission is even beneath the dubious qualities of the infamous bucket.

As history reveals, a commission after Pearl Harbor was attempted, but it disintegrated into so much partisan bickering and bitching that it was disbanded for good reason. This one is no different and no better. But major reason why the PH commission was sunk was we were in a war at the time, and as you have so eloquently expounded, the same condition prevails today, albeit with a different enemy. Unfortunately, our current crop of politicians are more interested in "face time" on TV than in protecting America, the first and foremost duty of any politician. Further lunacy is evidenced by appointing politicians to solve what essentially is an organizational and strategic problem; politicians are generally totally disorganized, and can't think beyond the next re-election campaign, so strategic thinking is out the window. And finally, by appointing the very perpetrators as inquisitors, we are asking the alcoholics to guard the distillery, a very dangerous mission tasking indeed.

Still, and all the nationally-suicidal nonsense aside, I wish someone could answer me this, even though old: "Weirdsville USA" has apparently and more so turned into a sort-of: "LooneyTunes" USA?

Since most anything of any consequence in America has always either been accomplished, round-filled or squashed In Committee and/or behind closed doors to The Public,...why on these latest and instead unarguably life and death matters during wartime, is everything so OPENLY & IN DETAIL exposed to The American Public and The World (to our many fanatical enemies inclusive)? Have all politicians become that shallow and stupid over the years?

Perhaps, and just like there used to be (doesn't seem so anymore?): "Executive Priviledge",...maybe there should nowadays be an: AMERICAN CITIZENRY PRIVILEDGE??? Maybe then, and since against The Law, so many fools in both Government and Press/Media wouldn't be permitted to put ALL AMERICANS at further risk than should ever need be,...solely for political oneupsmanship purposes or to appease other citizenries.

It's truly a sad State of Affairs, when basically America's very own: "Political Science EXPERTS(?)", Leaders and wannabe leaders are more dangerous to The American People,...than our many foreign enemies. Hope "They" all get their acts together,...before the enemy takes advantage of such an apparently overall weakness?

A Commission such as the one we are witnessing starts with a charter and/or mission statement and it is most likely full of lofty patriotic and altruistic notions and verbiages, ta dot ta da. Fair enough, that happens and is as it should be. However once the opening bell sounds all that goes by the board and the partisan cutting and guten begins out there in the mud, the blood and beer. If this Commission were serious about getting to an operable bottom and producing a work product that is of value, there would be a completely different scenario. There would be no media allowed, there would be judicial supervision and the Commission members would have clearances necessary to deal sensitive and classified information. Plus there would be no politicos involved that haven?t attained the skills to keep their traps shut and have attained a reputation of bleating out everything they hear. Sound far fetched? Well, this is precisely how some County Grand Juries operate and their work product can be a report or a true bill or both.
I served on our County Grand Jury for over a year and we dealt with all manner of allegations of County Government wrong doing. Ha, ha, I would never accuse that Jury of having a singular partisan stripe at all, no way. They were all there, right, left and center but we got the work done despite some intense arguments. One rule was if a person couldn?t be non-partisan in the investigations and deliberations they recused themselves or were recused. And if someone spoke to the media or revealed any testimony, identity of witnesses or even a potential subject of investigation, they were looking at contempt of Court charges and some probable time in the slam.

So the litmus test for this current 9/11 Commission is if they come to some conclusion that is truly bi partisan in nature and there is some tangible good that can occur like make the USA more safe and secure from terrorists. My bet is that goal is the furthest thing from their collective minds and the kiddos that queue up for the morning school bus across this land will be no safer or better off.

As to divulging information to our enemies, I don?t know about that aspect. Seems like the terrorists have found their way around well enough, know our weak areas by heart, and are counting on us to rip each other to shreds with our prevailing partisan hatreds, then just simply roll over and beg forgiveness. So I?d say they are real happy with the progress thus far and its fermented goat?s milk on the house and praise be to Osama.

Sorry to take so long getting back to you, especially on such an important matter. But, solo playing with about 50 feet of PVC, joints and leaders, and a little digging and masonery to-boot,...sort-of put a little kink in my indoor stuff (passing-out and sleeping excluded). In that context I've come to the conclusion that fresh air sucks.

Regardless, and as to your fine and explanatory of further weirdnesses response, believe your bottom line: "...'THEY' are real happy with the progress thus far and it's fermented goats milk on the house and praise be to Osama",...sez-it-all. After all, isn't it truly strange that some officials Americans pay (and quite well at that), should be more so and most always concerned about foreigners and even foreign enemies,...INSTEAD of We The American Citizenry and/or those foolishly paying for such an arrogant, lordly and quite nationally-suicidal type representation? Fortunately, such weirdos aren't in the majority, even though that's how "They" most always act.

If thinking me wrong, answer me this. Even from the typical American Liberal, French, German, Russian and UN intransigently weird or purposefully always enemy capitulating and quite like-minded stances,...what's "Their" point in always favoring the enemies wants, wishes and desires over America's and The West's? Does what clique or cliques hold power and control over all (even nuclear wastelands),...mean that much to "SUCH"? Sure seems so to me.

Well Neil.....

We?ll have to see what the Commission findings are to see if there is something new under the sun, but I?m not waiting with baited breath for some new revelation. But maybe we?ll see some circumstances or situations we haven?t been media bombarded with from the time of 9/11 yet, but who knows.
What we have seen thus far is nothing short of a coliseum event in the best Roman tradition and I wonder why the various and assorted hungry carnivore critters haven?t been set loose to publicly devour the inquisitors and respondents alike for the entertainment and blood lust of the media and applause gallery.

My scary concern is that politicos on both sides of the chalk line are fully aware of all the sordid details leading up to 9/11. For reasons of security and/or political skullduggery we don?t hear a lot from them but they are, in fact, on any number of over sight committees watching out over this and that, so they know, and if they don?t, then shame on us for about the last decade and a half or more.

From Ruby Ridge to 9/11, the FBI has been an island unto its self and only scarcely and superficially under the supervision of the Justice Department, that?s nothing new and a continuing big problem.

During the bombing of Belgrade we hit the PRC embassy by mistake, that?s real bad. But worse is that the CIA used a telephone book to locate the PRC embassy and subsequently mark it off limits. The problem there is that the telephone book was out of date, the PRC embassy had moved and boooooom, scratch one PRC embassy. The claim by the CIA was that their funding had been reduced to the level where the only resource they had was an old Belgrade telephone book. Give me a break, more like malicious compliance and pouting it seems to me. Then we get on to the latest piece of Commission raw meat and that is the Justice Department memo/legal opinion that the CIA and FBI shouldn?t talk to each other and obviously they didn?t. Now we are squishing around in some excrement about the intent and application of the memo/ruling, yikes!!!!!, talk about a ball of snakes. So on and on it will go and at the end of it we?ll see if we?re any safer as a result.

I will reassert that the terrorists have us scoped out in detail and know where the chinks in the armor are, precisely how to get us jacked up, jerk our chain, get us into the political hate/slam-dunk mode and alas, enjoy their fermented goats milk while we cut off our nose to spite our face.

Given that reality, I don?t think the 9/11 Commission is going to give the terrorists or us anything that isn?t already known and yammered about endlessly by the media talking heads. My guess is that it will all end up as some ?Mikie done it? conclusion and for sure we gots us tons of Mikies inside the Beltway. Then we?ll once again see the Beltway coat of arms of crossed forearms and pointed index fingers pointing at the appropriate, hapless and probably guiltless Mikie, ta dot ta da.

Hope you're right, and that some good comes out of: "The 9/11 Hearings" FOR US.

So far, and except for politicians quite openly (quite asininely also) blaming everyone else EXCEPT THEMSELVES for their many Intelligence Oversight FAILINGS,...at this juncture I personally see no great value of such OPEN & PUBLIC hearings for America. For a multitude of terrorists worldwide,...FOR SURE!!!

After all, wouldn't any combattant just love to watch their enemies worm, weasel and blame their very own on a daily basis, as to how impotent "They" are and have been against a truly united and well motivated enemy?

I believe that terrorist leaders actually watch more American News TV than Aljezeera, for better enemy intel, tactics and intent. Probably recommend Aljezeera for all their fanatical followers, just so they can stay hopped-up and fanatically anti-American?

I don?t think it?s any secret that over thirty percent of the detainees in Gitmo have partial or complete US University educations, most likely paid for by some State Department/ US education grant or another. Aarrgg, our own kiddos should be so well endowed and at the receiving end of such generous educational funding.

So yah, the terrorists know how to use our system to destroy us, or at least they are convinced they do, and as 9/11 stands testimony; they know their stuff all right. So all the finger pointing and skinning going on has to be high comic relief and sublime opera for the terrorists. As a free democracy it is vital and absolutely necessary that we argue and fuss about things openly, but Jasus, some things need to have some form of discretion and need to be proprietary in nature.

I find some of the 9/11 Commission stuff going on to be totally embarrassing and ya just have to wonder who gave some of those idiotic-shits the keys to their desk let alone a role in National security or legal decision making or a seat in some elected polotico Senate position, yikes!!!!!

We really don?t need to broadcast what a mob of self-serving autocratic numb-nuts we have had really running things for a decade or more. But on the other hand, maybe it?s a good thing the US population knows what the terrorists have known for a long time. But alas, it?s political season and more order can be found in a high speed, green flag-first turn of a full-contact mud bog race. At least in that instance everyone starts out driving in the same direction, mostly and maybe.

In the cross purposes and predominant screwing the pooch from both ends that is typical of the middle east, it should come as no surprise that the principal funding of Al Jazerra comes from none other than the one of the local Sultans. Currently he is our best pal and best host for the Iraqi operations and a new US Air Force base. Kind of like the family Saud funding of the terrorist controlled Madrassah Seminaries in Pakistan; they fund and grow their own hanging trees.

I don?t get it but I suppose it is all part of the ?enemy of my enemy is my friend? way of things and we?re not too picky as to whom we are showering up with and maybe the Sultan is a least-worst shower mate, who knows. But I agree that the terrorists would and are gleaning tons more from the US media than Al Jezerra could ever hope to offer by beating their pro-terriorist pots and pans. Ha, maybe we should follow suit and have our own media increase their inherrient and intrinsic BS level and do a tit-for-tat deal.
