BOW Bridge Craw fest

Went there friday evening and met James. I took the kid with me. I told James it wouldn't rain on saturday and sure enough saturday morning was really nice. Me and the Kid went early and bought a couple chairs and watched the Cajin band and James Dance?, around 12:30 or so The kid wanted to go ride around the town to see what was there. I told James we were going to go for a ride and would be back. As we were pulling out of the parking lot the skys opened up and began to rain and didn't quite till the next morning. Every one (but me) got very-very wet and most likely stuck in the mud trying to get there car out. James-- I can only control the weather while I am there, when I leave its up to someone else.
The time we had was good though, The Kid even ate some Crawfish, EEEEEuu. Sunday morning we went to The Fun Ford Weekend at Houston Raceway park,
I probably need to go back to work one of these days, or they will stop paying me.

When does mudbug season start? I've got a ship captain who has promised to bring me a few pounds from Gulfport as soon as they are in season.

When does mudbug season start? I've got a ship captain who has promised to bring me a few pounds from Gulfport as soon as they are in season. Last time I pigged out on them was in 1985 when I had my Arty. BN down to Ft. Polk for an ARTEP. You can't get them in the North East.

Hears a tip, if the tail is not curled under, through it away, don't eat it. If the tail is straight, that means they were dead when they went into the boiling water, only problem with that is How long had they been dead, 1 hour or 2 weeks.

That's a true story, Bud. They HAVE to be cooked alive and eaten as soon as possible for the best taste. I can only cook a couple dozen at a time then I have to stop........Can't stand the screamin' any longer :D .

Try getting the water boiling before you drop them in. Works good on chicken too.

Well, this is,as stated, a bridge in the locality of Breaux.

Dang it Ron, you got to learn to dance, you da man, if Larry can score big, so can you!!

Here's what you missed: Hunter Heyes, this is going to be the new name in CZ. This kid had it all, sang, played the guitar, keyboard and squeeze box, 10 times better than anything on American Idol

This here was the Crwadad eating contest, they played it different, instead of who could eat the most, it was who could eat the fastest. The Guy with the black shirt won, I got it on video so I could study his technique
