Once again, the President stated his case quite well, with appropriate rhetorical ruffles and flourishes that had the almost lyrical tone to it. His speech was methodical, not mechanic, simple, not simplistic, and pragmatic, not problematic. Since we as a nation are driven by the instant-gratification-syndrome, we demand instant results and solutions; the President reminded us all once again that results, positive results are being realized, and that patience needs to be practiced here at home. I gave him a B+ overall, and look forward to the next installment of "How Iraqi Won Their Independence," coming soon to a TV near you!
