Lot's of birthdays today. Well I wish you all a good one. Todays is our 38th anniversary "geez" where did the time go.

Gotta run - work load is heavy today.

Congrats on 38 years together Boats and Mrs. Boats ! I see Sweet Sue and Grasshopper turn 49 today , haven't seen them posting but wishing them a Happy Birthday.

Yea I know its amazing. I agree I haven't too much from those two in awhile also - I hope they well and in good health? If anyone knows let us know - Thanks

Why are they always called the better half! I know they are but how come? Is this a female thing? She's a good kid and has been a one of a kind. Still after these years she still can surprise me with some of her antics. You'd think you know someone after all these years under the same roof and yet out pops something you never knew! hmmm

Boats I hope you are doing something special for Mrs Boats after she put up with you for 38 YEARS.

Yea Right - at our age I'm not surprised to come home and find her in bed. She's got a real bad back and walking or doing just about anything is very painful. Her spine is bent there's a name for it and we've been to 20+ doctors with little results.

How she deals with her pain is remarkable and I never complain about a backache because her's is so bad. surgery was an option but too scary for her and she's scared and I don't blame her but it has to be her call. Sometimes I take her to the Doctor against her wishes because she worries me so. Oh well its got to be her call otherwise she will read you the riot act. You guys know how a woman can get when they don't want any input!!

She's a tough Italian gal and we get through each day the best we can. If she's up I'll take her for dinner otherwise we wish each the other best and call it another day. We do tell each other often "Love You" and that reinstates all thats needed between us. But thanks to all of you for the best wishes after all its our Birthday like so many others.
