What Big Media Won't Report About Guns
Last week Insider Report noted how the gun grabbers of the Democrat and media establishments helped Republicans score historical gains in the last elections. Now we see that the anti-choice crowd refuses to learn from its mistakes. The highly publicized shooting deaths of six hunters in Wisconsin by another hunter have caused the expected amount of ranting against the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Gun Owners of America, however, is clearing the air. "Sunday's shooting was very tragic," says GOA Director of Communications Erich Pratt. "But we must not forget that more than 4,000 people saved their lives using guns on Sunday." According to none other than the Clinton Justice Department, GOA points out, "Americans use guns in self-defense as many as 4,110 times every day. This means that guns are used 50 times more to save life than to illegitimately take life." |
Something the media won't show you; during and prior to the ban on assault weapons, how many arrests were made where a crime involved an assault weapon? How many arrests were made for the possession of one? Was it really worth the money we and the politicians spent to have the ban?

D-Joy...
The media in general just can't report such.
Would make them all seem quite hypocritically-stupid, since always pontificating just the opposite. In all likelihood such is similar in most all areas where: "Right to Carry" policies have been elected into being by The Citizenry. The Media certainly keeps it under-the-rug that where concealed weapons are permitted to be carried by The Law-abiding Citizens,...such in most cases have GREATLY REDUCED VIOLENT CRIMES. Gee,...I wonder why? Yeah,...that's right. Cowardly bums, scum and/or lowlifes always look for EASY MARKS or EASY TARGETS, and most certainly don't want their butts shot off for just snatching a purse from a little old lady,...no matter how many naive fools say or think differently. It's just common sense. Neil |
