Psyco Vets team up to catch crooks

Ya we did, But it wasn't any fun because they wouldn't let me shoot them.

The house next door to me has been for sale for over a year, about two weeks ago a sale pending sign was put up in the yard. Last night about 11:30 a Jeep pulled into the driveway and a man and woman started unloading some stuff into the house. About 9am when no one came out of the house I called the owners in Florida and asked if anyone was supposed to be in the house, They called the realtors and no one was supposed to be there.

I went and looked at the license plate and it was from Indiana so I called Bob K and asked him to run a wants and warrants on the Tag. It came back Stolen from Panama City Florida. I called the Dekalb police and then covered the back of the house with the trusty 12 ga while they went in the front. TWO IN CUSTODY.

A man and woman, turns out the woman was trying to run a real estate scam on the owners. I don't know what role the guy has in this, guess I'll find out later. Anyway the Jeep has been recovered and is in impound here. The thieves punched the ignition but other than that there was no visible damage to the car. Bob, You might want to give the owners a call and tell them to contact the Dekalb police at the number I gave you. There was a lot of stuff in the Jeep and the police may need some help in identifying it as to owner(s).

Chalk one up for the good guys. Thanks Bob see you soon.

Sid :

I am glad you showed remarkable restraint, contrary to some things you told us about last year ! I still don't get it...they were putting things in a vacant house !!!!!!!!! Does not compute.

Good Job !!!!

Actually it was the second arrest that morning

The first occured when about 8am I noticed a white mitsubishi 4 door slow rolling down the street, then it came back the other way. Then I saw it again, I got the tag number and called the Police and told them the car and description and if they had a cruiser in the area to check it out. In a few minutes the white car came slow rolling by again and a cruiser passed by and flipped and made a stop. They arrested the people and towed the car. When I called about the people in the house the dispatcher told me the other stop was a mexican woman and her daughter learning to drive, no drivers license, no permit, no insurance, no child seat and the tag on the car was stolen. So when the jeep next door came back stolen I was already heavily armed with my 870, my double barrel both with 00 buck, my 4" 44mag my 10" 44 mag and 9mm. I wasn't going to die for lack of shooting back.
