I Got Water
I had my Water well drilled today. We hit water at 57 feet and then added one more casing so I now have a 80 foot well that is pumping 15 gallons per minute. the well driller had bid the site at 142 feet so I feel very good about this. I witched the site and found about 15 spots holding water, but this one was the strongest and in the right place away from septic and stuff like that. :D :D :D :D

sn-e3,
Was that done with a devining rod? How "well" does that really work? 15 GPM @ 57 feet is pretty good. In all seriousness though, will there be any effect in the dry season? |
Steve I used brass welding rods first bent 90 deg. about 4 inchs from the end and then held loosely in your fist of 4 fingers don't use your thumb hold the rods about 6 inchs from each other pointing straight out from you and start walking they will cross when over water and when over heavy consintration they go oppisent at the handles. I also used a vine maple y branch last summer and it found water at the same place. And to answer your last question I don't think it will effect the well because of the drought. there are not enough people around me to pump the Auqifer dry

well that is great news Chris so dose that mean when we get together next time the FIRE DEPARTMENT won't have to be called?

Golly sandy I sure hope so. They were so slow I thought they came all the way from Psyco Mt Ga.

Is there any scientific explanation for divining ? Is water the only thing you can find like this ?
