"I Gotta Gal in Phenix City..."
You've sent that old jump school running cadence going through my head. Everytime I jog, I hear jump school cadences. It sets a certain rythym for me.

and a good time was had by all...
It started in the parking lot of the Columbus Civic Center, since we were going onto Fort Benning,The safety briefing was held across the parking lot from our bikes,Fort Benning MP's brought their bomb dog out and all bikes were checked first. After the safety briefing all riders had to go and stand by bikes and hold out a photo ID of themselves to be checked by MP's.We also had to sign a waive that if we got into an accident we would not hold the Sgtmajor Association responable. From there we left and went across the river to Phenix City and downtown Columbus and then on out to Benning..
1st photo is SGTMajor Jan Stegeman,President of the Association giving the safety briefing and do's and don'ts of Fort Benning. |
