Simple Prayer Request

My grandpa's health has taken a quick slide down a hill. Last week all of a sudden he really started to feel bad. He started to lay around all day and sleep allot during the day. Its just not his usual self. Also complained about his breasts hurting. WELL he also fell down the stairs the other day he said(don't know if thats an old memory or a new one.)

He went yesterday and the only answer we have right now is that the x-ray came back "clear" and there is no masses in his chest.

Bad news is that there is something up with his liver. Its enlarged. His has had allot of issues in his past with things. Alcholisim, Malaria and hepatitis(I forget which one right now) that have made it weak I guess.

Now we are just waiting for bloodwork.

Something is different this time. He is just different now. I hate this.

Prayers for your Grandpa Mel

If the chest x-ray showed clear and he is saying his breasts hurt(discomfort in his chest?) has any cardiovascular problems been ruled out?

Thanks everyone.

My main concern is that I don't want him to have to suffer. His breast were swollen. The doc thinks its hormonal due to the liver? They are running gobs of tests that should clarify it.

He is 86 years old, the only father figure I have ever had in my life. The only person that surpasses me in being stubborn and so on. We are allot alike you could say. I just don't want him to have to suffer.

Thanks again everyone, it means allot to me.

Gee Mel sorry to hear that - you bet prayer's for Grandpa no problem. Let's hope its only a little set back and he will bounce back to his old self. Keep a positive attitude that's all we can do.

Good Luck
