2nd/60th--Ninth Division ????

Gimpy, you have posted a considerable list of those who gave everything and are to be memorialized, remembered and never forgotten from the above unit. I've read the list but perhaps you can answer some of the causes of death.
Five; "Accidental Self Distruction"?
Two; "Misadventure?"
One for each; "Hostile Causes?" , "Accidental Homocide?" , "Other Hostile?"
I didn't see "Frag" once or is that what Accidental Homicide is?

I have no 'explanation' for these descriptions.

They come from official U. S. Army records and can be found at the Ninth Divisions Web Site. That's where I got them.

Accidental Self Distruction,
When you pull the pin on a gernade and through the pin.

Misadventure,
at two in the morning and foggy, you walk into a rotor of a running helicopter.

Hostile Causes,
Theres a tree in the road, cut down by the enemy, you you done't see it in time and turn the wheel to avoid hitting the tree, and run into another tree.

Accidental Homocide
Your walking along and trip, when you trip you grab, thats good unless the thing your holding onto is an M-16, locked and loaded

and Other Hostile,
Your vehicle gets hit by a rock throung by a Hostile.
