In response to nanotech such a new Techinial World. What happened to the good ol days. Soon ships will sail themselves and sailors won't be needed to man them.

Don't laugh that day will come sooner than later. It's amazing what they can do today. Just think about 100 years from now we will be ancient history - like the days of the old west.

Sad state of affairs if you ask me when sailors aren't needed on ships, and soldiers aren't needed in an Army.

That has me worried they will bring out the big stuff and much devastation will result because there are no human factors to worry about - much like the dropping the bomb from the air - unless you are the less fortunate to be on the receiving end of it.
Yep - things are really getting high tech - don't know if its for the best or not - time will tell.
