Site is back finally
Couldn't get this sight to open for 3 days, guess it was due to the problem in St Louis.
|
Could be, I had the same problem here in New York State!

men David and Bern just moved to Olympia, Washington and I think they had the site down while they switched to a local server. They are home owners now so that probley means they are very busy getting moved in and looking for work Please Pray for Them.

I was like a fly with one wing clipped whilst the site was down.
It was with extreme pleasure when I clicked on the link and it came back on. Tamariki |

New zeee
I went to Austrailia for a 7 day RR while in Viet Nam. While in Sidney I took a boat ride for New Zeland. I was on the boat that came out of the water on skis kinda, About 1/2 there the captain says we have to turn back as the waters around NZ are to rough. I was looking forward to visting NZ.

Enjoy living in Olympia David and Bern :a: It's a nice city but the morning and evening commuters can cause some gridlock. When I was stationed at McChord AFB Olympia was closer and easier to get around then Seattle so I would go down to El Sarape on 1200 Cooper Point Rd SW, Olympia, WA and listen to a friends band perform. They broke up before I left the service but I see on the Internet some DJ's called Last Call Entertainment is spinning records there now Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 9:30 p.m. to closing. I still have a Pint Glass the owner gave all the customers the weekend before Christmas. Got a free pint of beer on the house with the Glass :D The Mexican Food was OK and big portions the last time I ate there in 2000. here is a recent review on El Sarape at http://www.judysbook.com/cities/olym.../El_Sarape.htm
Again I hope you both have a great time in Olympia and take the Brewery Tour at the Olympia Brewery its a fun afternoon :ae: PS the Micro Brews are awesome around there also! |
Moved to the Volcano????
...
...Hmmm, Congratulations on the move,... ... |
Dave and Bern, don't panic and think the sky is falling. It is somrthing the Olympic peninsula people call rain. Don't even try to describe the sun to them, they won't believe you.

I live near Auckland in the north island. During WW2 American troops were encamped near by, before heading off to fight in the islands.
Deer and pig hunting are popular. Big game fishing trips are carried out further north. It is a common sight to go on a beach at this time of year and see people kite fishing for snapper. Unfortunately deep sea trawling has reduced fishing stocks, and Asian immigrants take any shell fish off the beaches regardles of size. Salmon fishing is another popular sport, and you just have to buy a licence (or not) to do this. Tamariki |
