I've heard my share babbling

It's okay to share with us. We love ya. You are one sweet kid.

I've heard lots of babbling and wouldn't say yours is babbling, just yearnings of one concerned and lovable person. We'll listen.

Tina,

There probably any number of inspirational thoughts that are applicable and one that comes to mind is that the ?strongest steels come from the hottest forge.? So keep talking and keep emoting, that creates focused group energy. My two nephews both became hard strip Sergeants in Iraq and ceramic armor tough to boot, and came on home in time to help put my Pa to rest; A Staff Sergeant, 1st ID, WWII.

That speaks well of the leadership quality and commitment of their NCO?s and Officers. I fully expect that Marine NCO?s and Officers are equally talented and committed and no doubt in my mind that your Marine is totally surrounded by brothers and the best friends he?ll ever know, bar none.

It gets a bit strange in the eye of the storm and the guy that wasn?t? very likable a few days before is all of a sudden larger-than-life, a true salt of the earth n? true bonded brother when the brass comes flying out the side of an M2, M16, or SAW or whatever and laying down a field of fire.
US Marines know how to do that better than any light infantry unit in the world. But that is not to compare them to a US Army light infantry unit. Aarrgg, I?d get skinned alive if I even tried. :ek:

Love ya too, Tina, so keep up the good work and keep talking. We need your inspiration and energy in these troubled times.

And Tina...

From long ago and the words of steel that never went unfulfilled, not ever, and so it is and so it shall become for you, but a very, very long time from now.

My young nephew is over there with the Australian Army. We know how you feel, and believe God will bring him and others home safe.
God bless you Tina.
Jim
