Unarmed National Guard retreats
 

his story is sad. Why do we send our troops somewhere and not give them the means to defend themselves. It's the National Guards JOB to Guard the Nation, it's kinda there name.

Still reminds me of the Movie "Southern Comfort" except here they knew they had hostiles and they weren't the interlopers. Give our troops on the Border the equipment to do their JOB or let them go home and be Just another F-ing Observer like congress want them to be on the Border. Ohh we might offend Mexicans if the National Guard has Guns and Bullets to do their job is just B-S. this whole border thing is a huge joke. You build a 50 foot fence and there will be a 51 foot ladder laying against it.
It will never stop until Mexico has something to lose. Send Mexico the bill for border control, and if they don't pay, close the border.
Its not rocket science.
The answer has always been to make it cost more to be hear.
The Mexicans are looking for a better way of life, OK, So for them the cost of that better life has to be greater than the risk. Right now they have nothing to lose, they get caught they sometimes get sent back to Mexico and then there right back where they were in a week, only thing changed is that now they are a little smarter.
The Mexican Government has nothing to lose, It gets a ton of money from the people that send it back to Mexico every week.
The big thing I can see coming is that the Mexicans that are hear will get citizenship, and with that, voting power, and with voting power comes all sorts of perks for the so called Mexican/Americans. The illegals in this country are like a cancer, they will keep growing until they are stopped/killed or they kill the host.

Who ever idea it was to put unarmed National Guard on the border is the one who should be the one who is manning the border unarmed. Unarmed soldiers is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of.

Military personnel without weapons is not a military, It's just people.
