Agreed Boats...
The levels down in the Russian Army are in a state of flux and shambles and their bosses probably aren?t in much better shape. So nothing is ever simple and there is always a risk inside a risk, inside a risk, etc., it seams. Great book of some time back called ?The Threat? and deals with the reality of the then Soviet Army. Real interesting reading if it is still in print.
I don?t read Hardcore a lot simply because I get lost in the monolog all to often, and can?t figure out the argument or position, or don?t take the time too. But he does have some interesting positions from time-to-time. Who dat man in da bag, who dat?
