Just don't remind them that the Warsaw Ghetto held out longer then the French Army in 1940. I made that mistake once. They cut me off. Had to eat with the Brits and Germans.
Moral: Eat with the Southern Europeans but don't expect your internet connection to work. Oh, and don't remind them they haven't won a war since 700 AD unless you count that Hundred Year thing. It went so long I think the Brits forgot there was a war on.
