What's gonna happen to the white enlisted Navy cover ("gob" hat)?
Man, that's been the trademark of U.S. Navy sailors for a LONG time!
Looking now at a photo of my uncle in the Navy in WW2...black uniform and white gob hat. I just can't picture a U.S. sailor without that hat!
How would you sailors feel about that hat becoming history?
