BTW my Uncle Ernest Hanger while serving in the motor pool(In Korea) had a Col tell him his jeep wasn't fast enough! So, my Uncle took the biggest Motor he could get his hands on (I think it was a P51 Mustang Engine

The last they saw of the Col he hit the berm and flew Jeep and all into the Sewage Lagoon.The jeep was ordered taken apart and gotten rid of.They got rid of it but it was not taken apart just sent somewhere else
Also the link I added shows the diminsions of a P51 Merlin engine and it looks like it was possible to put it into the Jeep setting in the foreground
