What works for me is zero carbohydrates, sugars or stimulants after about 3PM. Even so, I?m up at crack of doom, oh dark thirty, anyway, n? gettin good to go.
At a time I watched Imus in the morning, but that was just too ?busy? for ramp-up time and I was getting tired out too early in the day.
Now that global warming is back again, I?ll have my two mile evening walk and that helps also, especially if some scoundrel carbohydrate or sugar snuck in, somehow
