I know that New Hampshiire and Vermont have wit. Maine isn't too bad but Massachusetts wit, now that is questionable. Just ask Andy, the guy lacks humor.
All he does is play practical jokes on the cop across the street, and the prosecuting attorney visiting the morgue.
When I was stationed at Ft. Devens we had this guy that was riding his motorcylce up in NH and crashed in a farmers front yard. The farmer looked at the kid lying in a heap in his front yard and said, "Gee, I hope you didn't hurt my yard." The kid thought the old farmer was the most uncaring guy he ever met. I thought it was funny.
