He was a great Combat General. He knew how to inspire men. We have a man in our congregation who served in the Third Army with Patton. He said, "We loved him and we hated him." "There wasn't one of us who wasn't proud to say I served with Patton."
He got the most out of his men. He understood tactics very well. His one fault, he had no comprehension of how to handle the press.
