The annual Western Great Lakes Coast Guard Reunion will be held in Marinette, Wisconsin, on September 13, 2003. Activities actually extend from Friday through Sunday morning, but the actual reunion celebration is on Saturday, September 13.

This reunion has been held yearly for over 40 years and is still going strong! It is very well organized and attended, and all Coasties - active, retired and veterans; officers, warrants and enlisted - are invited to attend. Bill and I have both referred to Jack Eckert's website JacksJoint, and Jack attends each year. Other attendees at last year's event traveled from as far away as Florida and Texas.

If you'll be in Wisconsin at that time, I recommend you try to attend. Last year was my first, and it was great!

I am not an organizer of the reunion, but I will gladly forward any requests for info to the "right end of the horse," so to speak!
