Blood donors
I went to give blood today. I am near 4 gallons for the past 20+ years or so. Now that I am feeling better I am going to try to do it every 2 months or so. I would urge everyone to check into it and not wait until there is a tragedy in your family or the nation. An unbelievable amount of blood was wasted because so many people contributed after 9/11. Sometimes, when supplies are real low, they will tell me where the blood is going. Once it went to a 3 year old girl who was having emergency surgery at St. Jude in memphis. I was on Cloud 9 the rest of the day. If you have any questions about it, let me know.
