...bouncing around back to the "THC" yesterday, and came across a girl looking for information on locating where her deceased Father might have served, not a lot to go on, and maybe one of you might be able to help bring some closure, and/or some justifed benefits...

Title where was my dad
my dad passed away over a year ago. my mom was and is trying to get some kind of surviving veterans pay. well according to the V.A my dad wasnt in even vietnam. he didnt talk about it much because of the bad memories he had. so my mom and i really arent sure where he was stationed. im trying to find someone from my dad's old unit to see where exactly he was.
he was in the marines from september 9, 1971 till november 2, 1973 in unit MaintCo,2nd ServBn, 2nd MarDiv, FMF, Cam Lej, N.C.
so if anyone was in this unit or knows of anyone please contact me.
