Here is what I sent the Speaker.
What are you guys thinking? I have been saying all along that there is no way my party was going to screw over vets and then I read this. All my Democrat friends are giving me the "I told you so". I would be outraged enough as a combat disabled vet but to be that AND A REPUBLICAN, I am not only outraged but depressed and feel totally betrayed. "A PROMISE MADE IS A PROMISE KEPT". Where did I hear those words? With our boys in the field getting ready to be shot, bombed, and gassed, and you guys are goint to cut an already thin budget. I, for the first time in my life, am ashamed to be a Republican. I don't get it! Please Mr. Hastert, explain this to me.
